Hello @jonbirch ,
Thank you for writing, Post VSCL for Windows v6.0.5, MD5 hash of every scanned file is meant to be displayed in the scan.log. I could see you mentioning the current version used is 6.1.4
Could you please let us know if this is the same result on every scan that is triggered or only happening on scanning specific files?
If this is seen on all scans, I would suggest logging a Service Request on the same to investigate it further and could shine more insight.

Thanks for your quick reply
the scan log file below shows the variety of file types and the output I get. Other team members also do not see an MD5...
1) Is there any product debug logging I can enable ?

Hello @jonbirch ,
Unfortunately, I would not have the details of the Grant nor something I could share in the public forum. Please allow me to check this internally and see if I can pick any further assistance with the concern.
To obtain the Grant details or to log a case, Would suggest to check with the concerned Sales rep or SAM who could assist you better
I was hoping you could email it to me using the address in my profile.
Hello @jonbirch , I, unfortunately, would not have the details of the grant with the company information either, Sales team would be the right one to assist on that part.
While I was getting this discussed internally, could you please try scanning an EICAR file since usually the MD5 would be expected to be documented along with a detection.
As the next suggestion, please run the same command against an EICAR test file along with /RPTALL switch, and please share the output.
