i have been asked the below question, i have scoured the internet but cannot find a definitive answer :-
"We can now virus check 3rd party supplied USBs on their Surface Pros but a colleague of mine seems to think that the functionality of McAffee will not work if the USB is Winzipped or compressed in some way. His concern is that the files will have to be expanded and then the anti-virus function may be compromised.
Could you confirm please whether this is true or not as I am a bit dubious about that."

Thank you for posting on the community.
If you enabled "Scan inside archives (e.g, .zip)" in On-Access Default Processes Policy of VSE, every zipped files can be scanned by VSE.
