Very High CPU

We are seeing high CPU usage from the McAfee agent. We need to know why.

Re: Very High CPU

What specific process?  Is it when something is happening, such as policy enforcement, an update, etc?  Do you have very large policies or rulesets in firewall, solidcore, or ens?

Re: Very High CPU

Also,, what version of the agent?  If you upgrade the agent to latest, does issue go away?

Re: Very High CPU

Ok, mcshield is VSE process, not agent.  That is typical of lack of proper exclusions, need for a low risk process exclusion in case of a very busy process, etc.  I will move this over to that team to better assist you.
