VSE client tasks vs. policies question

Hello, Could someone please tell me what will happen in the following scenario?

Under Assigned Policies for VSE 8.7, I broke inheritance for a special set of machines that have VSE exclusions set.  Let's call this group, "F&F exclusions".  This policy breaks it's inheritance from "My Organization" for "On-Access Default Processes Policies" and renamed "F&F On-Access Def. Proc. Policies".

Within the same group, "F&F Exclusions", I have a client task that inherits from "My Organization" the task "On-Demand Weekly Scan".  Within this task there are no exclusions set.

So my question is, will this task run without regard to the exclusions set in the policy?  After writing and re-reading this before posting, I think the answer is yes, but I'd like to know for sure.

Ian
