With the initial release of windows 10 as well as last creators update a patch for McAfeee VirusScan 8.8 was required for installation and update.
I know Patch 10 is currently in work. I don't know if it is in schedule for Win 10 rs3 release, thats the reason why I want to know if it will be
- not needed
for Windows 10 1709 Fall Creators Update (Red Stone 3).
Got the same issue as we need Patch 10. I wish that McAfee would release it before the official release from Microsoft, this would then allow us time for testing. I feel like we spend our time rushing product out due to the untimely release of Patches. Along with the patch, we don't know if the latest ePO agent 18.104.22.168 is supported.
Latest update to the compatibility chart shows 22.214.171.124 is supported. I've only heard rumors about VSE 88 P10, but the same document lists it as minimum. It would be handy if released soon.
Is there any news on a release date for VSE 8.8 Patch 10? With the new way of patching some Windows 10 machines are updating to Win 10 1709.
I do not know the release date yet.
I confirmed with McAfee support, but I was not able to tell.
I was scolded when I reported the customer to the customer.
Does anyone have any info on a release date for VSE 8.8 Patch 10? I have machines that are updating to Win10 1709 and I don't have an AV that is compatible. This is becoming a real problem.
because ENS 10.5.2 isn't jiving with 1709 i was forced to install VSE 8.8 P9 on test systems and it works without issue.. so not 100% sure about the P10 required
It's two weeks ago now that 1709 has been released. Quite disappointing that there's still no statement regarding the patch 10 availability and potential issues with patch 9. Or am I missing something?
