VSE DAT/Engine does not show up correctly in ePO reporting

ISSUE: VSE DAT/Engine does not show up correctly by ePO reports.

We have ePO 4 and VSE 87 being used. When trying to pull the daily DAT/Engine report from ePO some machines

show DAT/Engine to be Blank or NA or junk characters.

1. Checked locally and find the machine to be updated with the latest DAT & Engine.

2. Checked plugin flag for VSE on the machine.

Has anyone come across this scenario.

Hi Sunil Varghese,

Moving thread to Virus scan enterprise section , where enterprise mods would be helping you soon.

Thanks,

I've had similar issues but was able to resolve them by doing an uninstall/reinstall of the Virusscan Enterprise on the problem machine from the EPO console.

Re: VSE DAT/Engine does not show up correctly in ePO reporting

Make sure you have MA 4.0P3 or later installed into ePO, with the MA4.0P3 ePO extension also installed.

Also make sure you have VSE 8.7i Patch 2 checked in.

With this combination, all should report correctly.

I had this sort of issue with earlier versions of MA 4.0.

Oh, and make sure you have ePO 4.0 fully patched too (though it shouldn't affect this issue).
