VSE 8.8 "Could not contact Filter Driver. Error = 0x7f ..."

I just updated the EPO agent 4.5 to 4.6 and the VSE from 8.7 to 8.8 in our McAfee EPO environment. On one MS Server 2003 I get the event log error and the Scan protection status is disabled.

Event ID: 5004

Could not contact Filter Driver. Error = 0x7f: The specified procedure could not be found.

I removed the VSE 8.8 using software removing in Windows system control. The VSE 8.8 was removed successfully. Then I installed the VSE 8.8 again using EPO installer task. I checked the Agent log and the saw that the VSE 8.8 was installed successfully again. But the Agent security status shows a disabled scan status again. And I find the error above in the Windows application log.

What is the reason for this? What can I try next to fix this problem? That is a realy critical server and I doesn't want make some experiments.

Thanks and best regards from Germany

You may need to perform a manual removal then reboot the server and reinstall
