VSE 8.8 Patch 14 and the Shield Icon

Jump to solution

Hi,

after installing VSE Patch 14, my Shield Icon is gone. No matter which MA version I used before, I could restore my beloved old icon by disabling McTray and enabling ShStat.exe.

It this still possible with Patch 14?

I tried MA 4.8 and 5.6.2

I know, but till Patch 13 I could still restore the old icon by disabling mctray and starting shstat.exe.

anyway, this is not an important issue 😉 thank you very much for your time!

Hi @DFensHD

Sorry for the silly question but have you rebooted following the upgrade?

MA 4.8 is not supported and is not compatible with VSE p14 but you should be fine with 5.6.2

yes, I rebooted after the upgrade.

I just to make it clear, I can see the "new" red shield icon, but I want the old, classic silver/blue one.

Is this still possible somehow?

Oh I see! My apologies 🙂

No, I'm afraid not. The new red logo is our standard one now.
