Re: VSE 8.8 Installation and configuration

Thanks.

  • One strange problem occurred today on few systems Keygen is not getting detected or deleted by VSE...
  • would like to know about is there any McAfee Native Boot Scan available on client systems

Kindly assist

Re: VSE 8.8 Installation and configuration

Hi,

For the keygen, just upload the file to McAfee Labs to be investigated as may be is a file that McAfee is not aware of.

To submit a sample follow this link:

http://www.mcafee.com/es/threat-center/resources/how-to-submit-sample.aspx

There is not a McAfee Native Boot Scan available at the moment but you could submit a PER (Product Enhancement Request) to McAfee and they will consider to release in the future

To submitt a PER follow this link:

https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB60021

Regards,

Jose

Re: VSE 8.8 Installation and configuration

Hi Jose,

These are the files showing in the Pen drive..checked by formatting also.

It has been noticed that shortcuts are getting created in the pen drive..it seems to be malware issue.

Kindly suggest

Re: VSE 8.8 Installation and configuration

Please ensure that your VSE is updated.

Re: VSE 8.8 Installation and configuration
