Update standalone PC McAfee using usb drive

Jump to solution

Dear all,

What is the best solution/product for an environment with 12 windows workstations not connected to the internet.

The McAfee installed on the workstations will be configured individually and update using a USB drive.

Please help/suggest

Hello @kieshan,

Thank you for writing, We could still be using Endpoint Security for Windows machines which would still function as a standalone product and protect the machines as expected. And also as you have already confirmed that the DAT/AMCore update would be manually updated.

ENS product guide:
https://docs.mcafee.com/bundle/endpoint-security-10.7.x-common-product-guide-windows/page/GUID-E46B9...

ENS installation guide:
https://docs.mcafee.com/bundle/endpoint-security-10.7.x-installation-guide-windows/page/GUID-74E1752...

Please use "V3 Virus Definition Updates (DATs)" from the URL below to download the AMcore content in .exe format and the same could be executed locally on each Windows machine. I hope this helps
