Update Virusscan 8.8 patch 14 installation failed Error 1603


I just updated my agent in and my Virusscan in 8.8 patch 14. But some servers have an installation error 1603 and I don't knwo how to fix this error.

I put the log file as an attachment.

Hi @Pasca91 

Thank you for sharing this with us. To find the reason for failure, you can look at the reason for failure - if it's return code 1603 as in your case, you can scroll to the top of the installation file and search for "return value 3" or as the log is in French: "renvoyée 3".  The first error you see is the reason for failure, in your case:

Based on this, I would recommend you look at your root certs and check these ones are installed:

If these are installed then I would ask you to re-run the installation whilst collecting a Procmon Trace, then collect an MER from the machine and submit these two to Technical Support for further analysis.
