Question regarding VSE 8.8 "Unwanted programs policy"

Hello,

I have one question regarding VSE 8.8 "Unwanted programs policy". There is one "Sacn Items" option "Other Potentially Unwanted Programs" available. What does it mean? Is this hard coded? Is there a relation between this option and "User-Defined-Detection" list.

Greeting from Germany and best regards

Janni

See the White Paper below on PUP's

http://www.mcafee.com/us/resources/white-papers/wp-potentially-unwanted-programs-spyware-adware.pdf

No relation between User Defined Detection List and Other Potentially Unwanted Programs.

Re: Question regarding VSE 8.8 "Unwanted programs policy"

Hi,

thanks for information. So there is no relation between User Defined Detection List and Other Potentially Unwanted Programs. But as discribed "Other PUPs" in the White Paper it's also a hard coded category.

Thanks and best regards

Janni
