I am trying to install McAfee Enterprise 8.8 on my Windows 7 machine. I have an expired version of McAfee installed currently.
I get Error Message 1310: trying to write to file C:/Program Files (x86)\Mcafee\VirusScan Enterprise\Emabout.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory.
The installation proceeds no further.
How can I resolve this?

VSE doesn't not "expire" unless you have a trial version. If you have a trial version you must uninstall it first.
