Point Redhat 7 Machine to use a Windows Machine Virus Definition Repository

Hello

We are using McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.8.

Currently have a repository on a Windows machine the Windows definition files and manually load the Redhat 7 machines with their own definition files. We would like to point our Redhat 7 machines to their definition files but in the Windows repository. The only info I could find was how to configure the Redhat to be a repository.

Any info appreciated.

Re: Point Redhat 7 Machine to use a Windows Machine Virus Definition Repository

If you can point your redhat machines (VSEL/ENSL) to a ftp or http repository (I think that is possible) you can utilise this functionality to have an internal http/ftp server pick up the files from your windwos box and serve them as a ftp/http repository to your redhat ENSL/VSEL installations.
