Please See Access Protection Log

I couldn't find an answer to this online, so I've come here.

When I hover over the M icon in the lower righthand corner of the computer, instead of "OK," which it still said yesterday, it says "Issue detected."  When I click on that, it says "Please See Access Protection Log."  I have 2 questions, please:  What does that mean? (When I went to the access protection log, it made me no wiser.)  And does it signify that the McAfee protection is off?  My main concern with this question is security.

Please give an answer that is not technical, because I am not computer savvy.  I need an uncomplicated, easy to understand answer.

Many thanx!

Re: Please See Access Protection Log

Hi @Former Member ,

"Issue Detected" implies that Access Protection has encountered an error or has triggered any of its rule.

Please attach a copy of Access Protection logs by following the instructions below.

  1. Click Start, Programs, McAfeeVirusScan Console.
  2. Right-click Access Protection.
  3. Click View log file. The AccessProtectionLog.txt file opens.

Thanx,  Pravas, but it's not doing it anymore.  It says "OK" now.  Go figure. {shrugs}
