When I create a web project in Visual Studio with an *.svc file for an WCF Web Service and activates MVC View precompilation I get the error:
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object." in ASPNETCOMPILER when I try to recompile my project.
To activate MVC View precompilation I add the following build target to myapp.csproj
<Target Name="MvcBuildViews" AfterTargets="AfterBuild" Condition="'$(MvcBuildViews)'=='true'">
<AspNetCompiler VirtualPath="temp" PhysicalPath="$(WebProjectOutputDir)" />
There are apparently more people having the same problem, see http://thesoftwarepractice.net/development-things/object-reference-not-set-to-an-instance-of-an-obje...
If I turn off McAfee real time scanner the problem does not exist.
Is there any way to avoid McAfee VirusScan to crash my compilation?
