I have ePO 5.3 with about 28 workstations with agents. I recently upgraded to Patch 9 with my VSE 8.8 machines.
When I upgraded to Windows 10 1703, I uninstalled McAfee agent and VSE, as Windows did not want to upgrade.
Now that Windows is successfully upgraded, I can't deploy an agent to my Windows 10 1703 machine.
I get the error "Can't access remote registry, network path not found"
I tried to ping the workstation which is in the Unmanaged state, and ping worked fine.
Any assistance with this?
Currently having the same issue Kirk. Removed Mcafee Agent and update Windows 10 to 1703, now I can't get the agent back on, and getting the same error.
I am able to deploy it to other Windows 10 machines, just not anything with the 1703 build.
You see, it worked on one of my notebooks, but then once I tried the other ones it brought up that message to deinstall the agent, because it isn't compatible with the update. I would like to know why it worked on one of the tho.

I do not work for McAfee but to answer your question Kirkie: Windows 10 1703 requires Agent 5.0.5 to support Windows 10 1703.
Agent 5.0.5 release documentation: https://kc.mcafee.com/resources/sites/MCAFEE/content/live/PRODUCT_DOCUMENTATION/26000/PD26907/en_US/...
VSE requires 8.8 patch 9 for support of Windows 10 1703.
I am having this issue but I am only now starting to research it. As I need to upgrade my ePO, Agent is 5.04 I assume this is my problem. I recommend you start there as well.
