McAfee Interfering with my Symantec Back up Exec

Hi Guys,

I have encountered the below error during my incremental and full back up process.What solution could you provide or advise? Am using Symantec Back up Exec and have been advised that the problem is with McAfee anti-virus. How can i solve this problem from McAfee point of view?

 
category    : Resource Errors
Error             : e000fedf - A failure occurred reading an object.

One or more Microsoft Exchange databases werebacked up but the Symantec Backup Exec Active Directory Recovery Agent is notinstalled. Symantec recommends that you install and use the Active DirectoryRecovery Agent to better manage your Microsoft Exchange data

What McAfee product and version are you using?   Also have you checked to see if anything ius being held in VirusScan's Quarantine Folder?  Did you detect any popup warning of a torjan or other type of malware removal?

Also check that in Personal Firewall that application has full access.

am running virus scan enterprise 8.8.00000. No Trojan horse detected and after scanning, no folder was quarantined. McAfee has full access on PF.

Have you read KB article 68701? It explains how to configure the necessary exclusions for VSE and BackupExec to play nicely together.

i read it and am good with the process of exclusions for Symantec Backup. however that still did not solve the problem..Am still waiting for a solution to this...
