Our VSE 8.8 is managed by an ePO server and I know that I can set an exclusion in the Anti-virus Standard Protection > Prevent mass mailing worms from sending mail category. My question is as follows...Is there a way to set an exclusion on one computer rather than setting it in the ePO policy? I know that I can go in and set the exclusion on the local computer but when policies are enforced the local exclusion gets overwritten. Is there a way to prevent the local exclusions from being overwritten in Access Protection like there is in On-Access scanner? Thanks in advance.
Yes, you can do it, create a new Access Protection policy with exclusion in the Anti-virus Standard Protection > Prevent mass mailing worms from sending mail.
> Navigate system > Click on Action > Agent > Modify policies on a single system.
Select VSE 8.8 and Access Protection and break the inheritance and apply the exclusion policy.
Give a wakeup agent call to that system.
