Keylogger

Jump to solution

I have found a workstation that has keylogger on it. It wasnt reported to ePO it found by one of our desktop team members. My question is: is there a way to block keylogger stuff from installing on workstations or is there a way that McAfee VSE will pick it up?

thanks

Hi,

Keyloggers are supposed to be detected and removed by the antispyware part of VirusScan. This is a separate module available for VSE 8.5 and 8.7 and integrated feature in VSE 8.8. If such a feature/module is installed, you'll see it displayed in the VirusScan About screen.

You need to enable unwanted programs detection in VirusScan and enable unwanted program types to get detected in the Unwanted Programs policy.

I've moved your post to our VirusScan for Enterprise area for better attention by an expert.

I have McAfee Internet Security Installed on my Computer. Your website says I need Mcafee LiveSafe or some other product to detect & remove key-loggers?

So suggest me what to do to detect & remove keyloggers
