Is there any expansion for DAT file??

Can any one tell me is there any expansion for DAT file which is used by VSE

Hi magi,

I am not sure what you are asking, but I surmise you wish to Expand the contents of 7565xdat.exe.

If so, the command is:

7565xdat.exe /E C:\Extract\Dir

/E is the parameter to Extract

C:\Extract\Dir is the directory in which to place the files. This parameter is optional. If not given the extraction is done in the current directory.

Thanks for replying .. I think i was not clear in what i was asking, one of my friend just asked me about this DAT file used in VSE, i explained him why it is needed then suddenly he came up with a question asking "what is the abbreviation of DAT, if there is no abbreviation then why did they name it as DAT particularly" ... so, now i am searching for answer

Its short for DATA. File extensions are traditionally 3 chars.
