Is VSEL 2.0.3 is compatible in Fedora?

Hello,

We are planning to do standalone installation of VirusScan Enterprise for Linux (2.0.3) on Fedora 23, but when we checked for supported platforms, fedora was not listed in that.

Our understanding is, since Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is based on Fedora & RHEL supports VSEL, VSEL should be compatible in Fedora also.

Could you please confirm?

Thanks & Regards,

Nithin

Re: Is VSEL 2.0.3 is compatible in Fedora?

Hi,

Standalone installation of VirusScan Enterprise for Linux (2.0.3) on Fedora 23, but when we checked for supported platforms, fedora was not listed in that.

No, we have not tested this flavour of unix Fedora, hence it is not supported.

Our understanding is, since Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is based on Fedora & RHEL supports VSEL, VSEL should be compatible in Fedora als

it may work but we do not support that.
