No.

Whether you can get it to work or not is a different story.

I'm not familiar with the device so can only refer you to the VSE Storage 2.0 documentation, which explains the supported methods available for scanning.

Re: Is IBM DS4800 SAN storage compatible with VS storage 2.0

Information about what it supports and doesn't support seems to be hard to find.

Normally there is a technote which explains the supported environments, but this doesn't seem to exist.

From the download page, it suggests that the following are supported:

" IBM N Series Platform of filers."

" Data ONTAP 6.1 or later OS using CIFS protocol "

Elsewhere, it suggests that EMC and NetApp Sans are supported, and the readme for V1 suggests the following are supported:

"NetApp scanner supports NetApp NAS devices using the RPC protocol.

ICAP scanner supports Sun NAS appliances including StorageTek 5320 and Sun Storage 7000 Unified Storage Systems."

What a mess of information. Sorry I can't give a better answer. I'd be pushing this one up through support to get an accurate answer.
