Installing VSE 8.8 with AutoUpdate set to Idle for 5 mins

Hey guys, I am creating an image for our laptops and I wanted to know if there was a way to have VSE install with the default schedule to idle for 5mins. I found the reg keys I would need to change but can't do it while access protection is running and can't figure out how to stop access protection to change the settings other then manually. Currently MDT2013 installs VSE and it defaults to daily at 17 local time but because these are laptops that is not feasible. Is there a way to script the change after the installation? If not what are the triggers for the silent install to set it that way (I would have to create a separate application install for the laptop then so I would prefer an after install solution but if that is not possible it's not the end of the world).

Hello,

Have you try to use Installation Designer?

I have not and from what I have found it can only be installed on a 32bit system which I might not be able to procure. Is there any other solution for this?

Hello,

I don't know if it's possible to run this tool on a 64bit OS. You don't have the ability to install an evaluation version of Windows Seven 32 bits on a virtual environnement (VMware or VirtualBox)?
