I have Servers running server 2003 that get a page file overrun with VSE 8.8 p4

this eventually causes the shares to be inaccessible and the server ultimately needs to be rebooted. McAfee support cannot fix the issue ? Ticket was open for months with many tasks ran by myself causing pain and anguish for my users. I eventually have just put VSE 8.7 back on these servers. Has anyone else experienced this?
