How to updating DAT remotelly on a list of machines.

Hi,

I need to force an update on a bunch of machines having problems to update DAT. After reinstall agent, i run this command remotely, and works pretty good until, for some reason, it doesn't. It stops in some machines and the rest of machines in "compurters.txt" does not run the mcupdate command.

for /F %%i in (computers.txt) do (psexec \\%%i "C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\VirusScan Enterprise\mcupdate" /quiet /update)

Do you guys, know any tool/script/way to allow me to force an update on machines remotelly that is reliable?

I cannot access ePO console, to push the agent or dat file, so that's why I'm forced to look alternate solutions.

Thank you so much,

Alberto

Re: How to updating DAT remotelly on a list of machines.

if u want to use psexec try downloading current security updates from

McAfee, Inc. - Downloads - Virus Protection - DAT Files

then issue command

for /F %%i in (computers.txt) do (psexec \\%%i -s -h -c %path%\7591xdat.exe /silent

where %path% is folder where u saved current update (today is 7591xdat.exe)
