Create and schedule client tasks to automate how you manage systems in your network. Client tasks are commonly used for the following activities.

For the above to work, the McAfee Agent will need to be installed FIRST; depending on your environment there are several different options to facilitate the agent install.

Create Agent download, go to System Tree Actions from EPO console <<>> New Systems <<>> select radio button Create and download agent installation package <<>> click on Okay/save <<>> copy/install on local system.

Create an installable link <<>> New Systems <<>> select radio button  create URL for client-side agent download <<>> copy/paste URL <<>> launch from local system.

Import system from a txt file <<>> add credentials <<>> deploy

Hello Toa,

I want to create a package to install it automatically when creating a new server.
I do not want to deploy vse from the ePO console.

I put in part attached a screenshot of an old package (vse + agent) in order to integrate it to the master of the new servers.

I have VSE and the agent (exported from the console)

Is there a specific software to create this package?

Give Winrar a try, create a SFX with the following commands:

;The comment below contains SFX script commands

Path=%SystemRoot%\Temp\

SavePath

Setup="%SystemRoot%\Temp\VSE880P8\SetupVSE.exe" REBOOT=R /q

Silent=1

Overwrite=1

Make sure to copy the ENTIRE folder that you have posted above...After testing, you can EEDK it, upload to your repository, create a task with a /s command.
