How to allow winrm on VSE8.8?

I posted this on EPO but got no response.

As per the subject.

I am getting a communication (login) issue between winrm and VSE. I can confirm that the script that is using winrm works fine if VSE is not installed on a pc.

I have already allowed powershell as an exclusion under access protection, AV std protection, prevent mass mailing from emailing.

Do the VSE logs show anything about blocking it?

Does VSE detect it as an unwanted program? If so you must put the detection name in the Unwanted Programs exclusions in VSE policy.

Nope the logs are empty.

I uninstalled VSE on another PC and the script still failed.

Going to have to look at something else that is causing the problem.
