Jump to solution

Hello,
I have to exclude a port for our datto backup agent but looks like i couldn't find any option to add any specific port or create any new rule. Need help ASAP. Thanks.

@mkazi If you're needing to exclude a port from a firewall, then you would not be doing it in VirusScan Enterprise. While VSE does have the capability to implement a type of port-blocking rules in Access Protection, I'm not certain that there is one by default that would block a backup agent.

Could you be more specific as to what you're seeing is blocking the backup agent traffic? Are you triggering a particular AP rule, or is this a proactive action you're attempting to take?
