Exclusions in ePO server

Hi

I need to exlude some file from scanning via epo.

I have created one exclusion policy  for servers /workstation etc

Here is the doubt was  exclusions are case sensitive ? or not

Example :

Example/**

example/**

Another question is that i have file name with example_4,example_5,example_6, if excluded as example_4/**,is it work for all example string are present in folder or only particlar file that is (example_4)...

if not is it a best practise is that change the path of this file storage and naming with new folder some (123)/adding exclusion for entire folder 123/***?

Thanks in advance

Re: Exclusions in ePO server

Greetings,

 Please see KB54812
It should help answer this.
note the article states
The ? wildcard is used to represent a single character in the exact position where it is placed in the path or file name.

( I always like to test any exclusions using EICAR
this is covered in KB59742
