Outlook 2016 hangs for about 5 secs when a new email is delivered this is caused by the McAfee Email scanner. f i disable it then Outlook runs fine...
Currently running Windows 10 (Creators update) with office 365 (up-to-date) with Enterprise Anti-Virus v8.8 Patch 9
Also having the same issue, started occurring after Patch 9 deployment and is also corroborated by a thread made 3 weeks prior. Disabling add-in resolves issue but it creates a compliance issue with our security accreditation so we would rather have this resolved properly rather than disabling it.
Aforementioned thread mentioned that a complete uninstall>reinstall of VSE seems to resolve the issue, am currently trialling this with an affected user.
Not related at all, autodiscover has been working perfectly and the only change we have implemented recently is deploying patch 9 for VSE
