DAT version reporting problem

Hello

I have problem with McAfee Agent version 5.0.4.283.

After update DAT file (through ePo or xDAT file) agent is still reporting to the ePo server very old DAT file 8859.

The flag parameter is correct. there is no solution.

Curious, does the correct DAT version show up in either:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\McAfee\DATReputation]

and/or

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Network Associates\ePolicy Orchestrator\Application Plugins\VIRUSCAN8800]

If so, could be just a corrupt Agent, reinstall the agent and monitor the DAT version.

Agent has been reinstalled. All values in registry are ok with the newest version, but the report to epo still wrong.

same issue on a small number of clients (server OS - win2008r2 ) - about 285 clients installed on server machines and staring few days ago started to notice this issue on les than 10

It's still not appearing in Software Manager. You have to download it from McAfee. Give it a try and see if it fixes it.
