End of Life FAQs for Host Intrusion Prevention/SiteAdvisor Enterprise/VirusScan Enterprise, and Endp...

This includes:

I have Virus Scan Enterprise. What must I do to stay protected?
Windows customers must upgrade to Endpoint Security 10.7 to avoid any disruption to your endpoint protection. Endpoint Security 10.7 for Windows contains Exploit Prevention (formerly Host Intrusion Prevention) and Web Control (formerly SiteAdvisor Enterprise) in one package. McAfee highly recommends that you also install the Adaptive Threat Protection module, which includes Real Protect, Dynamic Application Containment, and Story Graph (provides a visual view into how we provide protection).

Linux customers must upgrade to Endpoint Security 10.7 for Linux, which contains Exploit Prevention (formerly Host Intrusion Prevention).

Mac customers must upgrade to Endpoint Security 10.7 for Mac, which contains Web Control (formerly SiteAdvisor Enterprise).

Will I still get DAT support after December 31, 2021?
No. After the EOL period is completed (December 31, 2021), DATs will no longer be supported on VirusScan Enterprise for Windows, Linux, or Mac.

Hi @NITHIN_MC

Thank you for reaching out to this community.

At this time we don't determine the EOL date for Update of DAT & Engine.

Patches of VSE will not be released after 2022 unless there is some particular reason.

Yes you must migrate to ENS from VSE, please find following site for more details.
