Cant run commandline on windows 8

Jump to solution

I am attempting to run the Command Line for Windows Version 6.0.4 and keep getting this error.

It did seem to run for awhile but is now failing on the command line with

          Access Denied

And from within my app

The specified executable is not a valid application for this OS platform

When it was running I accedentally set it doing with the example args from the docs /ADL /SECURE /NOBREAK and this started scanning my entire pc so I quit the command prompt. Now it wont run at all.

Any ideas?

Do you have any process still running? Can you try to reboot the machine and try again?
