Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, I have used uninstall and the agent won't work- says it is working with another program-or something like that.
I also deleted the agent program-but no luck.

Thanks a lot- but a little scary.
Actually I think I did it with Revo Uninstaller Pro- used "Force uninstall ". Can't find evidence of McAFee Ageont in Control Panel or Program Files.
Do you think this is OK? Or should I do something else?
Still get "100,200,201, and 203 event log errosr" after startup and shutdown. Could this mean McAfee not totally cleaned out.
Many thanks again.
I'm no Windows expert so those would have to be researched but to be sure you could follow the manual uninstall methods.
Personally I disregard most of the stuff in Event Viewer unless I'm having issues.
Being unfamiliar with "Revo Uninstaller Pro" I'd suggest verifying the appropriate bits and pieces are gone, by reviewing the manual uninstall instructions suggested by Ex_Brit.
To remove an item from the Add/Remove Programs list only requires deleting a single registry value. Thus if you want to be thorough, you should review the removal doc.
I think you need the reposted full full install with Patch 2 included to be able to uninstall from Win 7. There is a KB article about it, somewhere on McAfee's Knowledgebase.
