Can i clean VSE RepairCache?

Yes, I know, the server sizing is bad... I inherited some servers where I can't increase C drive capacity, and noticeable volume is taken by

C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\VirusScan Enterprise\RepairCache

Can these can be safely delete these files? It's just inclusive patch files that I believe are used during deployment and then left untouched. But I only found Spiceworks thread where very kind expert advice is to buy external hard drive.
