Alert for definitions being out of date

Have a network that is not attached to the Internet and must have anti-virus definitions updated manually. This is done periodically but I wanted to know how many days have to pass before I see the alert declaring that my anti-virus definitions are out of date?

Re: Alert for definitions being out of date

Where do you mean to see the alert? In Windows Action Center or in Mcafee Epo, Mcafee Agent, ...?

I think Windows Action Center is 5 days, but I'm not 100% sure.
