Agent install via Configuration Manager

Jump to solution

Hi ,

We are looking at deploying the agent with configuration manager, I have gone through recent blogs and it seems that the best way to do it si with the following comand

framepkg.exe /install=agent /silent

I just need to find out what would be the best way to check if the agent is already installed on a device.

You'd need to change the mof files to pickup the reg keys then once your clients create the classes locally, send the data via hinv to the site server you can query/ create collections on the tables created for the agent/vscan version

I use SCCM to double catch machines that don't have agent or VScan on them.

Install.

Forceinstall should only be used when you have serious issues with a previous agent install.
