1111 DAT issue

Hello All,

i have an issue with 100+ systems. DAT version showing as 1111. i assume because of corrupted VSE installation. i need to reinstall VSE remotely. i have tried to uninstall VSE from ePO task and using script. nothing is working. can anyone help me on this??

i'm using mcafee ePO 5.3.1 and VSE 8.8

Hello

have you tried running the xdat on the computed that have the issue ?

alternatively , force the agent reinstall

select deploy agent ---> then force agent install over current version option

yes, task created.. but its not working for these set of systems.

Is the access-protection running?

If not you can do it remotely via WMI.

Reinstalling VSE will likely not help. VSE is not what performs the DAT update, just what uses the DAT. The Agent is the application used to actually perform the update task. Take a look at the logs in C:\Programdata\McAfee\Agent (Or Common Framework)\Logs\

as you correct that VSE is corrputed and you can't able to remove it from ePO,  kindly raise case and get VSE removal tool and remove VSE and you can try install fresh VSE.
