Hey Tiffani, I seem to be having very short idle timeouts on my login. I'm using Chrome version 35.0.1916.153.
It's probably something I'm doing, but I wanted to go ahead and reported it just in case. I can test across browsers in the office tomorrow and report my results here.
Everything is FAST! Super, blazing fast.
It seems to be an intermittent problem. A while back I logged in on one tab, then opened a couple more tabs - and found I had been logged out. Went back to the first tab, refreshed, it went from Logged In to Logged Out. That sequence repeated itself several times then it suddenly took and I haven't had a problem with it since.
I shall watch the login process with deep suspicion for a couple of days.
Hmm... I seem to recall this was an issue when we first upgraded, lo so many years ago... Which browser were you using? Also Chrome? When I get in tomorrow I plan to test it with IE, Safari, Chrome, and FF for grins.
Well, it's not doing it now hahahah I tried 3 minutes, then 5, and it's still logged in.
It happens seemingly even if you ask it to remember you. It just did it for me and is somewhat annoying as the old Jive remembered log in on a permanent basis until a refresh was done of course.
BTW it's browser independent.
Yes, seems to be so. It just kicked me off, and I'm using Firefox this time. Browser-session maintenance is usually governed by the contents of a cookie, so maybe the cookie contents aren't always being set properly. I have the same problem on a UK Government site and at least there I know what the contents ought to be (because of EU transparency over cookie-setting). Here I haven't a clue.
This business is really weird. My first post this morning - it remembered me from last night. But anything subsequent to that I have had to log in each time....strange indeed.
Darn nuisance too as my password is 14 digits long.
I want my signature back!
