Truekey "experts" have failed to call me back since they worked on my computer 5 days ago. Not a reliable support.
I believe you understand that I started to interact with you since today, I am here to help you but as catdaddy mentioned, in order for me to understand i had to start from the basic information that i did not have, so please be patient.
1- Open a run window (windows key + r) and type services.msc and in the standard tab stop Intel Security True Key Service.
2- Go to C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\TrueKey and delete the mcylsq.dat file
3- Reboot the system
Let me know the results.
I found no way to type in stop truekey.... I checked programs and True Key is no longer in my list, although the icon is on chrome task bar. I tried reinstalling, but it keeps rejecting my log in
I did not need you to type "stop" just stop the services. Either way, we can find another way to do this. Did anyone attempt to delete True Key, can you see it in the program files in this path: C:\Program Files\Intel Security\True Key
Please reload True Key using this link: https://www.truekey.com/download and let me know what happens.
TrueKey had been deleted. I downloaded as you instructed. Then I clicked that I have an account and signed in. Notice of need for verification popped up and I had it sent to my email. I clicked verify and was notified that it was successful, but no second steps. I tried to log in again, and again was asked for verification. I may be 80 years old, but I am not computer stupid. I am a practicing physician and navigate our electronic medical record with ease. True Key has me in this endless loop which has been repeated a dozen times with the "expert" help last weekend. I am running out of patience.
Can you click on the email authorization link again, that should prompt you for a verification to let you in the application.
I need to have if possible your support ticket you received when you contacted the technical support team.
I have clicked on email authorization again and again. Sick of that loop.
