I have set the option automate log off every 7 days. But every morning after I open firefox, the app has to be initialized manually with the password, then wait for it to be successfully logged in in order to start using firefox.
Before true key every thing was automatic, I never had to write so much passwords before I installed it, and is making firefox slower.
¿Is this normall in true key? Having to log in every time I reboot or shut down the computer is becoming quite anoying.
Since I haven't got any answers or support I think I may unistall True Key until I find the solution for the problem. Yesterday I had to log in up to three times in the application ir order to work with my computer and it's becoming quite anoying and time consuming.
Give the techs time to reply back. As it has only been a little over 3 hours since you posted. Their geographical location is in a different time zone.
During the interim you can always contact Technical Support...McAfee Consumer Support Portal
The post was made 3 days ago, (9th of January if you check the data, at 09:40 local hour that day). I replied myself 75 hours later as I was tired of the waiting of any response to update my status (unistalled the software) as I won't be able to change options of the program If any support was given.
Hi Paloma ,
If I may, I want to apologize for your inconvenience, and thank you for your patience. Having said that I am a (Volunteer) Moderator and have been sick. This morning is the first time I was aware that you had posted. As you can see I also overlooked the actual date and time.
Marc is from Technical Support and most knowledgeable in the functionality of True Key. Thank you for your understanding.
I shut down the computer every night. Every morning I had to log in, and if I left the computer unatended and it went to stand by, I had to log in again. I changed the options, to keep it loged in always and only ask the password every 7 days (this is my personal computer, and is located at home), but two days after I posted this it became even worse. Yesterday I had to log in five times.
We had trouble with the internet conection, and if I had a micro cut of it (no other services affected in the computer), I had to log in in every web page I had thanks to True key asking for password.
If is the internet thing, is not going to change in a few weeks, so having True Key difficulting my daily work is not really an option.
Let me first say that I only saw this post this morning but i am really sorry for he issues you are experiencing.
Having said that, let me tell you that obviously after the system has been rebooted, it will prompt you to enter your password but as well as if you lose internet connection because that would be detected as being offline, it will also prompt you for your MP.
