My total protection tells me it's expired but it won't actually expire til October 2022. Why?
Solved! Go to Solution.
In the end I clicked on the renew link on my controller. It took me to the McAfee website which asked me to reinstall the total protection, so that's what I did. It now says everything is fine and it shows the correct number of days left to expiry date.
Hi @H_M,
We are truly sorry for the inconvenience. The subscription date which is showing expired may be due to synchronizing issue with subscription.
Kindly ensure McAfee is up to date and usually you will be notified before the trial period expiry with the prompts on your PC. If issue still persists perform re installation and check the issue status.
Thanks,

Thanks for your reply, but the issue isn't subscription, My subscription started in November 2020 and ends in 2022. I don't know why after 5 months of working, my protection now tells me it's expired which is untrue.
How do I solve that problem? My subscription is up to date.
Hi @H_M,
Thanks for the update. Please provide us more information so that we can help you on the issue. Are you receiving an kind of prompt messages or emails telling you that your subscription is expired. If you, can you please provide us with a screenshot?
