Running a full scan I found out that there are about 350k+ files scanned although this is the case, when looking at the report for all the scheduled scans less than 10k files are shown as to being scanned. I tried looking for an option section to see if this was because of the scan being diverted to one place but could only find a setting to change the time and date of the scan.
Anyone know where to see and edit which files and folders are excluded/included for the Scheduled Scans on Windows Total Protection.
We are sorry for the inconvenience. When schedule scan is running after a full scan it will scan through the modified and renamed files on the PC as it is a LAM ( Anti - malware version ). Please force update McAfee and let us know the exact version that is installed on the PC.
Unfortunately this issue with schedule scans not scanning all the files does not just happen after there was a full scan run. Every scheduled scan that has ran from the day I bought this has less than 10k files recorded.
