I am installing McAfee on another laptop and it says its "downloading" and it has been at 47% for over three hours. How long should the installation take, approximately?

Please follow the below steps and let us know the outcome to assist you better.
1. Stop the current installation running on the computer
2. Use the McAfee Removal Tool to remove the traces of McAfee from the computer and restart it
3. Try re-install McAfee product by going to home.mcafee.com -> sign in to My Account and download the product.
