Is it possible to run scan certain file from command line?
Something similar to Windows Defender command:
"%ProgramFiles%\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe" -Scan -ScanType 3 -File "e:\Issues\myfile" -DisableRemediation
Thanks for providing the information.
Use the below command to get into the command line scanner location:
cd C:\ Program Files\McAfee\MfeAV\
Use any of the below command as required:
For full scan:
For a custom location scan:
Ex:- mfeODS.exe D:\McAfee\
For more information on scanning options:
Please ensure you command prompt is opened as Administrator.

I restarted my system and ran CMD as Administrator but got the same error.
Hi @Karthik_K !
It seems that I have found out the reason of the error.
I try to scan a certain file - not a folder.
Based on help from "mfeODS /?" there is no option for file scan.
So, I repeat my question - Is it possible to scan certain file, not a folder maybe with an another utility?
