Can a product key be used on other people's devices?

I buy a product key allowing Total Protection on seven devices. I use it to protect my four devices. Can I 'donate' the other three for my grandchildren to protect their devices?

If you log onto your account while on their PCs you can add McAfee to their PC. It works fine..

Whether it will be against McAfee terms and conditions I do not know but maybe a mod will popin and answer that. I do it but I asked a high level tech for permission when I was a volunteer mod here.

I found this on searching for the question

"If you purchased a multi-license product, such as LiveSafe or McAfee All Access, you can install the product on however many computers and devices you are licensed to protect" Does not say your devices but might imply that.

Many thanks for the advice.
