Re: Guard Online Virus - help

I did a system restore and then scan for viruses on mcafee and it's saying that there is no virus detected. I am a little weary about the virus still sitting in my computer somewhere. How can I double check to see if there are any viruses floating around? Please help!

Re: Guard Online Virus - help

If you used System Restore then the chances are you are OK now but the infection will still be there encrypted in a Restore point.   So temporarily disable System Restore and that Restore point will be deleted.

Get a 3rd party independant decision by running THIS online scanner.   Or download and run the FREE version of THIS software, update it before running.
