TIE - SIEM Integration

Hi All,

Our Costomer want to integrate their TIE server with an FMS SIEM system, they need to store TIE Reputation logs in the SIEM. Can we extract reputation log entries from the tie via syslog or modified rsyslog config? If not than can we/do we have to use OpenDXL for this purpose? (ESM is not the usable way)

Hello TSM_BBence,

I am afraid the product logs themselves would not be very valuable for activity like this as they typically do not record each transaction as it pertains to reputations. For our own McAfee SIEM integrations we leverage DXL to monitor reputation change events, etc. I would advise looking into OpenDXL to accomplish something similar for FMS.
