TIE - A sizing question

Jump to solution

I'm trying to figure out a correction sizing stratergy for TIE, I have about 14,000 endpoints distributed over 3 main areas (but with a plethera of minor sites linked into those sites). The WAN links between the sites are fast. I was planning on 1 primary and 3 secondaries in my TIE implementation, is this excessive or to little? The sizing guide needs a brain surgeon to understand it...

Probably more than you need.  I would do at least a primary and a secondary.  If you want to have one more secondary for kicks and safety, go for it, but you'll be fine either way.   I would do one in the DMZ unless you have always-on VPN or systems never leave your environment, assuming you have ATD and want to be able to submit files into it from off-prem endpoints.
